Approximately every other month the gallery sponsors an Artists Reception. This is your opportunity to see artists demonstrate their painting or sculpting skills, get to know them, and ask any questions that you might have about their work.September

Meet artists Rolinda Stotts and Wayne Kolstad- Rolinda's unique ten-step process creates an effect of age and texture to her paintings, giving the appearance of having survived for centuries. Wayne Kolstad is new to Moose Horn Gallery this year. Once a taxidermist, Wayne draws much of his wood carving experience from his lifelong passion for the outdoors and love for fishing. Each fish carved is a one-of-a-kind, realistic, masterpiece. Meet Rolinda and Wayne at the gallery, 3pm-7pm, September 3rd and 4th, 2010.

Come and meet Rebecca, Bonnie and Karen Latham. This family of talented artists are know for their finely detailed watercolors of wildlife and nature. They will be demonstrating their work in miniature at the gallery from 2pm-7pm on September 11th and 12th.

Artist Showcase- Noel Dunn, Bruce Miller & Laura Mark-Finberg ::

Artists Noel Dunn, Bruce Miller and Laura Mark-Finberg will be at Moose Horn Gallery September 18th and 19th, 2010. Working in watercolors and oils, Noel captures the great outdoors. His favorite subjects include cowboys, horses, dogs, fishing, hunting, aviation and garden landscapes. Bruce paints incredible landscapes and amazing wildlife in oils. Laura's paintings have been described as “windows unto the soul” of the animals she paints. Working primarily in acrylic, Laura’s technique is to build up layers of paint to create the detail, depth and reality of her paintings. Meet with the artists 3pm-7pm September 18th and 19th, 2010.
